How Often Does PMI Change the PMP Test Questions

Buyer beware – is your PMP Exam Prep approach prepping you for an old version of the PMP exam?  Cheetah updates its course monthly. Cheetah students take (and pass the PMP exam) the day after their Cheetah class ends and are prepping for the most current version of the PMP exam.

There is a problem with most PMP exam prep programs – they require you to study on your own for longer after their course ends.  But when you have to do this, you may not be prepping for the most current version of the PMP exam.

The Project Management Institute (PMI) does not have a fixed schedule for changing the PMP (Project Management Professional) exam questions. However, the exam content is routinely updated to reflect changes in project management practices, standards, and the latest edition of the PMBOK® Guide.

Typically, the exam undergoes a significant update every seven or so years when PMI updates the PMP Exam Content Outline. Updates also occur more frequently, as PMI continuously reviews and updates the exam to ensure it aligns with current practices and trends in the industry. These changes can include adding, removing, or modifying questions, as well as adjusting the emphasis on different topics.

For those preparing for the exam, it’s crucial to stay informed about any announced changes and to use the most current study materials.

This is why we at Cheetah Learning continually update our 0 to PMP in 5 day course every month.  When a student takes a Cheetah course, that course is specifically designed for the student to pass the most current version of the PMP exam on the day after their course ends.
